Senna Case is working hard to try to create sustainably. Our factories are based in Oakland, CA. The staff have great working conditions and fair wages. Our fabric comes from mills in Los Angeles that are focused on sustainable fabrics and are spun there in LA. All of this creates a lower carbon foot print as we aren't using large freight overseas. We are also able to frequently check in on everyone involved in the project and ensure that everyone is happy and healthy, and all sustainable measures are being taken.
In addition to using organic cotton, Lyocell, and recyled fabrics, we also look for deadstock fabrics to give new life.
We create our pieces in PFD so that we are able to small batch dye, as to not have any overage that might potentially go to waste. We reuse most of scrap fabric for small projects as well. Truly trying to keep anything from going to landfill.
